Kristina and Ed’s February wedding day was one to remember…not only because it was a day full of happiness and eyes filled with tears of joy, but also because of a winter storm that left everything under a foot of snow and pretty much looking like winter wonderland.
The day started early and we were blessed with one of those spectacular winter sunrises while Kristina and her Bridal Party were having their hair and make up done at Fresh Hair Salon.
Kristina chose to do a First Look with Ed and also with her mom, Shellie. I think this was one of the most emotional and beautiful moments of the day.
Kristina and Ed had the most amazing group of bridesmaids and groomsmen surround them on their special day. Everyone was so brave to go out in the cold for pictures and have the biggest smiles on their faces even though they were freezing.
The ceremony took place at the Chapel in Camp Ripley and then we all headed to the Reception in Sobieski.
The color palette for the wedding was grey, teal and purple. And the rustic decor included mason jars filled with fresh greens, roses and baby’s breath, deer antlers, birch slabs and burlap.
Kristina and Ed, what an honor it was to be the one capturing your day. Your contagious joy, easy going personalities and kindness is what I love the most about you both! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special season of your life!!
