Lakeside Colorful Wedding, Glenwood, MN | Laura & Alex

Laura and Alex got married on a perfect summer day. They had envisioned a beach/ whimsical garden theme with a happy and laid back atmosphere for their special day. When Laura told me that she had grown all the flowers for her wedding, I couldn’t be more thrilled with that concept. Having a green thumb myself, I know how much effort and dedication it takes to grow beautiful flowers. The Bride and her bridesmaids spent all morning creating the stunning bouquets. All the girls got ready in their colorful sarongs at the Grand Stay Hotel & Suites in Glenwood and then we made our way to the Lakeside Ballroom for the ceremony and reception. After the ceremony, the Bride and Groom together with the Wedding party took a fun ride on a wake board boat. So many magical moments happened at this wedding…my favorite one was when an unexpected guest (a monarch butterfly) decided to land and stay in Laura’s bouquet for the rest of the evening, and when a gorgeous rainbow appeared right before sunset. A very colorful, emotional and magical way to end the day. Congrats to Mr and Mrs Naujokas!
